Terrible. Do they even try to think of something funny? I shouldn’t even bother licking off the last little syrup to see the punch line. It would be better if I just never knew the answer.

Starting today I am going to post a sketch per day. Also I am working on some autobiographical comics which I will also add as I finish them. Maybe now there won’t be two weeks in between each post. Maybe…
Also check out the interview with Jeffrey Brown that Melinda and I did for curiocomics.com.
A project that I have just started with Melinda Boyce, is a website called Curio. It’s a blog featuring news and reviews about graphic novels, indie comics and illustrated diaries. It’s goal is to search and find undiscovered artists and expose them. Hopefully, in the future, I will print comic filled magazines under the Curio name. Anyways, you should check it out. www.CurioComics.com

The Jellyfish Bandits is a band I am half of. We do a little bit of indie electro pop and a little bit of bedroom lo-fi folk. You should try an ear-full of us… if you want. Here is a song we finished this weekend called “The Negatives”. We are hoping to play some live shows this summer, work on an album, and other fun band-ish stuff. Download it, share it with your friends and leave me a nice comment. Thanks!

I have been working a lot lately helping set up Outdoor Kitchen World’s showroom in Tualatin, Oregon. I made large banners, signs and pictures to help decorate the showroom, and I created registration forms, maps and tri-fold brochures to hand out on the grand opening. Here is a few pictures of my work:
I will have more time to work on art now that the grand opening has passed. I have to get ready for selling my art on Alberta Street (in Portland) on their monthly summer art walk. I’m excited.
I need to be more productive. Enough with the taco bell and napping and watching movies and ghost riding, I need to finish something. I probably only feel motivated because of the nice weather.
So really I just wanted to post this awesome Where the Wild Things Are movie poster:
I’m pretty excited for this movie. I am really feeling Spike Jonze’s vision for the movie. Amazing. I want to live in a wheat field with a constant sunset.
I haven’t really gotten a hang of this whole blogging thing. Maybe if I accomplished something worth writing about. Maybe if I wasn’t just parked halfway in all my projects. One and a half months are gone of 2009 and I am only a little gimped bird hop towards the finish line of my goals.

Did you see the Sasquatch 2009 line-up? I bolded my correct predictions.
