Another Group Comic
Yesterday was an amazing beautiful sunny day! Melinda and I wandered around our new neighborhood and drew comics at parks and bar patios. Here’s a group comic that Melinda and I drew about the story of Judas and Jesus:

Check Melinda’s website to see the other comic we drew together.
Group Comic
The other night Melinda and I met up with Erik Moore (Seattle) and Verónica (Puerto Rico), two awesome artists that we met through the internet, and got some drinks at a dive bar in Portland. I had a lot of fun hanging out with them! We drew comics by each taking a turn and quickly drawing a frame then passing it to the next person to continue the story. Below is one of them with contributions from Erik, Verónica, Melinda, Erik’s friend, some stranger at the bar and I. See if you can tell who is who.

Batcave Beach Now Available in PDF Download
You can now purchase a PDF download of Batcave Beach Chapter 1 from the Batcave Beach Official Website’s Store. It’s only $2.00 and gives you an instant download to the beautiful hand-painted 52 color page PDF. I personally like physical copies of comics, but I thought that this would be a nice option for people overseas or people wanting to try Batcave Beach out without spending the $6.00 plus shipping.
If you would like to know more about what Batcave Beach is, or have read Batcave Beach and would like to see concept art and exclusive Batcave Beach prologue comics, then visit… The Offical Batcave Beach Website!
Thanks for your support on this project! It’s pretty hard to get an independent self-published comic series up and going. So share Batcave Beach with your friends! Leave comments reviewing the first chapter! Get a Batcave Beach tattoo!
Eye Poke!
It’s been over two weeks with my eye injury and it’s recovering at a snail’s pace. I finally could see enough last night to make this comic, although it took me about three times as long and I had to have my face right down on the paper. Complain. Complain. Complain.

Eye Injury
I had an eye injury so I haven’t been able to draw or work for a week! It sucks, I’m having drawing withdrawals. And I can’t read any of the awesome comics I got while at the Stumptown Comics Fest. Ugh… My days have been very boring, but luckily I am still able to write and record some music (I might post some songs later). Here is a drawing I did last night.

I have another appointment with the eye doctor tomorrow so hopefully I can get back to work on “The Awkward Quarterly #2″ soon. By the way be sure to check out my new and approved store! It has two new comics available, including the full color first chapter of Melinda and I’s Batcave Beach!
The Awkward Quarterly #1
I just finished my first issue of “The Awkward Quarterly”, which is a mini-comic series of my autobiographical work. This issue is divided into two parts: “Teenage Ruckus” (dumb things I did as a teenager) and “Starving Artist” (dumb things I am doing now). It is debuting at Portland’s Stumptown ComicFest this weekend, then I will add it to my online store to buy on Monday. It’s black and white, 48 pages and only 3 bucks! Enjoy a preview of it below:

Also debuting at Stumptown ComicFest is the first chapter of Melinda Boyce and I’s coming of age horror comic series, “Batcave Beach”. I’m so excited about how it turned out.
